Old man killed, Seven critical as bull runs amok in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: A bull assaulted several persons in the Patia neighborhood of Odisha's capital, killing an elderly man and injuring seven others.
According to accounts, the monster has been roaming the streets for the last two days, causing chaos and causing alarm among residents.
When the bull went mad, it allegedly attacked an old man in Patia's Padmakesharpur neighborhood after flinging him up in the air. The victim, who had suffered serious injuries, was transported to a local hospital, where physicians proclaimed him dead.
The animal also attacked and seriously injured a woman near Patia Railway Station. The woman was taken to the hospital, where her condition was described as critical. Another young woman was also injured in the attack.
At least seven people were said to have been hurt in the bull's attack, while several others narrowly evaded its wrath.
According to locals, the beast has been on the rampage since a clash with another bull on Friday.
Following notification, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) sprung into action, and the bull was captured and relocated to a safe enclosure.
