Balangir: In connection with the murder of a 25-year-old man on the grounds of the Bhima Bhoi Medical College & Hospital in Balangir, Odisha, police made four arrests on Friday.
Muna Dora, a 27-year-old cousin of the dead teen, is reportedly one of those detained, according to police sources.
On August 16, Aju Dora, who had a tiffin stand on the hospital grounds, was fatally hacked. He was attacked close to the hospital's oxygen plant. Dora passed away instantly. His mother attempted to save him but suffered serious injuries.
An argument between Dora and his cousin, according to the early inquiry, caused the murder. "About one or two months ago, Muna and Aju got into a quarrel over a small matter. Manu planned to murder him and paid two supari murderers Rs. 1 lakh, according to Balangir SP Nitin Kusalkar.
In addition, Muna supplied them with weapons and made contact with a third party to carry out the murder. In the early hours of August 16, they eventually succeeded in hacking Aju to death after multiple failed attempts.
The other three suspects were identified by the SP as Rahul Panigrahi (27), Som Punji (24), and Chandra Pradhan (27). They don't have any criminal history, he continued.
Additionally, the police brought the four people they had detained to the hospital to recreate the crime scene.
