Body of Missing Youth Exhumed In Koraput

Koraput: On Monday the body of a missing young person, Subash Badnaik, had been unearthed under Lamtaput Police Limits from the garden of a home in Tikarpada.
Since 19 September, Badnaik of the hamlet of Tikarpada is missing and his family has brought a complaint to the police station at Nandapur. The investigation was undertaken by the police.
On Monday, when a boy's husbandry smelt bad outside a Chandra Khemundi's residence. The cowherd told the people who notified police in Nandapur. Police arrived at the place and began excavating the backyard to discover the corpse.
Badnaik's relatives unearthed the body and recognised it as their son. Angry Badnaik family members burned Khemundi's house on fire and protested.
In the vicinity, police were sent to monitor the situation further.
Raghuram Padal, the chairman of the MLA and District Planning Committee, raced to the site and talked with local residents and police. After the police inquiry, he also guaranteed the locals the action against the offenders.
The police lodged a case and launched a case enquiry.
