Balangir: Three people have been arrested for allegedly stealing cash and other valuables from a medicine store in Kantabanji, Balangir district, Odisha, three days ago.
Subodh Sunani, Bighna Kuanr, and Hemant Seth of Ledapadar village have been identified as the accused. The police recovered some money from their possession.
According to sources, the accused broke open the shutter of a medicine store on Kantabanji's Road No. 4 and stole a large sum of money on June 11 night.
The robbery occurred after the owner of the chemist shop had closed the store and gone home.
The shop owner filed a complaint the next morning, prompting the police to launch an investigation. While three people have been arrested in connection with the robbery, police are conducting additional investigations to determine whether other people were involved in the crime.
