Bhubaneswar: Thousands of rupees worth of medications and furnishings were destroyed after a fire started at a pharmacy early on Monday in Bhubaneswar's Kesura Chhak neighbourhood.
The fire started at the shop on Tuesday about 7 am, according to the report. There was no causation, and the store was closed. The flames were put out after fire engines were dispatched.
Although the source of the fire has not yet been determined, the firefighters believe that a short circuit in the power supply cables may have been the cause.
Everything in the store was destroyed, including the furniture and medications. Even the building has been impacted, according to a store employee.
