Malkangiri: After a boat carrying them capsized in the Balimela reservoir in Odisha's Malkangiri district, a fisherman died and his two companions swam ashore.

Krupa Benia of Dyke-3 village in the district's Chitrakonda area was identified as the deceased fisherman. According to sources, Krupa and two others - Hari Sagaria and Kailash Nayak - were on a fishing trip in a country boat on Wednesday evening when it capsized. While Krupa went missing, the other two made it safely to the shore.
